Munjya's Box Office Day 5 Earnings Surpass Mr And Mrs Mahi

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 5: Abhay Verma, known for his role in Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man 2, is making waves with his big screen debut in Munjya. Directed by Adiyta Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy inspired by Indian folklore. The film also stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi, and Sathyaraj and has received positive reviews.

Munjya is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and has generated significant buzz with its storyline and impressive VFX. The movie opened strongly at the box office, collecting Rs 4 crores on its first day. Despite a drop in numbers on the first Monday, Munjya has maintained its momentum.

According to Sacnilk, Munjya earned Rs 3.75 crores on its first Monday (day 4) and saw a slight increase on day 5 (first Tuesday), collecting Rs 4.3 crores. This brings the film's total collection to Rs 27.55 crores. Notably, Munjya has outperformed Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi, which earned Rs 1.85 crores on its first Tuesday.

Sharvari, who plays a modern girl in Munjya, shared her thoughts with ETimes: "My character wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
