Munjya Box Office Collection Day 16: Abhay Verma has become a favourite among young girls, thanks to his role in The Family Man 2. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy featuring Sharvari, Suhasini Joshi, Mona Singh, Sathyaraj, and Taranjot Singh.
Inspired by Indian folklore, Munjya is the fourth film in a supernatural series that includes Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The movie received positive reviews from day one. From Abhay's innocent acting to Sharvari's style and Mona's chemistry with Abhay, along with the storyline and VFX work, Munjya has captivated audiences. The film made an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores and has maintained strong box office performance.

After a successful first week, Munjya saw a significant increase in box office numbers during its second weekend, crossing the Rs 50 crores mark. Although there was a slight drop in numbers during the second week, it still held strong. Currently, Munjya continues to perform well during its third weekend. According to Sacnilk, after collecting Rs 3 crores on day 15 (third Friday), Munjya saw an 83% increase in numbers on day 16 (third Saturday).
Reports indicate that Munjya earned Rs 5.5 crores on day 16, bringing its total collection to Rs 76.45 crores. On its third Saturday, Munjya outperformed Fighter and Shaitaan, setting a new record for the highest collection on a third Saturday in 2024. Fighter had collected Rs 3.65 crores while Shaitaan earned Rs 4.5 crores on their respective third Saturdays.
Discussing Munjya's success, Sharvari said, "My producer Dinesh Vijan and director Aditya Sarpotdar aimed to deliver an unparalleled theatrical experience through Munjya. They were clear that the CGI character needed to impress people, and Dinesh sir went to the best VFX company to achieve this vision. I was amazed when I saw the CGI character in the film, and the audience feels the same way, which is why our film is such a huge hit."
