Munjya Box Office Collection Hits £65 Million Mark In Second Week

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 13: Sharvari and Abhay Verma have plenty of reasons to be pleased. Their first collaboration, Munjya, has been well-received by audiences. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this horror comedy is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The film also stars Mona Singh, Suhasini Singh, Sathyaraj, and Taranjot Sing in leading roles. Munjya draws inspiration from Indian folklore.

Munjya has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year, captivating audiences with its engaging storyline and impressive VFX work. Fans have praised Abhay's performance and his chemistry with Sharvari and Mona Singh. The film opened with a collection of Rs 4 crores on its first day and maintained strong box office performance throughout its first week. During the second weekend, Munjya's collections surged, surpassing the Rs 50 crores mark.

However, Munjya has experienced a steady decline in numbers during its second week but continues to hold its ground at the box office. According to Sacnilk, Munjya earned Rs 5.25 crores on day 11 (second Monday) and Rs 3.4 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). On day 13 (second Wednesday), the film saw another drop, earning Rs 2.85 crores as per early estimates, bringing its total collection to Rs 65.30 crores. It is also competing closely with Kartik Aaryan's recent release, Chandu Champion.

Discussing her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
