Munjya Box Office Collection Day 10: Bollywood's new sensation Abhay Verma is making headlines. The actor, known for his role in Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man 2, is now winning hearts with his big screen debut in Munjya. Also starring Sharvari, Suhas Joshi, Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj, Munjya is a horror comedy inspired by Indian folklore. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya.
The trailer created significant buzz with its spooky story and impressive VFX work. Munjya opened to positive reviews from audiences who praised the storyline and Abhay's performance alongside Sharvari and Mona Singh. The film has been successful at the box office, recording an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores and a strong opening weekend.

Although Munjya saw a drop in numbers on its first Monday, it maintained a good hold at the box office. After earning Rs 35.3 crores in its first week, Munjya collected Rs 3.5 crores on its second Friday (Day 8). The film saw over 85% growth on its second Saturday (Day 9), earning Rs 6.5 crores. On its second Sunday (Day 10), Munjya collected Rs 8.5 crores, bringing its total to Rs 53.8 crores. It remains to be seen how Munjya will perform in its second week amid competition from Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion.
Meanwhile, discussing her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
