Munjya Box Office Day 9: Sharvari's Film Jumps 78%, Rivals Chandu Champion
Munjya Box Office Collection Day 9: Dinesh Vijay's Maddock Films' latest release, Munjya, has garnered significant attention. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this horror comedy is inspired by Indian folklore and features Sharavari, Abhay Verma, Suhas Joshi, Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The film's spooky CGI creature has notably captivated audiences.
Munjya opened to positive reviews, with audiences praising the performances of Abhay and Sharavari. As the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, it had a strong start at the box office, earning Rs 4 crores on its opening day. Despite an 80% drop in collections on the first Monday, the film accumulated Rs 35.3 crores in its first week.

Entering its second week, Munjya continues to perform well. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 3.5 crores on its second Friday (day 8) and saw a 78% increase in collections on Saturday, bringing in Rs 6.25 crores. This brings the total box office collection to Rs 45.05 crores. Munjya faces competition from Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion but remains a strong contender.
Discussing her role in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who prioritises her dreams above everything else. Many girls will relate to her ambitions and her confusing dating life. It's a beautifully written character."
