Munjya Box Office Day 4: Sharvari's Film Shows No Signs Of Slowing, Outpaces Rivals
Munjya Box Office Collection Day 4: Sharvari and Abhay Verma have reasons to celebrate. Their recent collaboration, Munjya, has been making headlines since its announcement. Directed by Adiyta Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy based on Indian folklore. The film also stars Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi, and Sathyaraj and is the fourth instalment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
Notably, Munjya has garnered attention not just for its storyline and performances but also for its impressive VFX. The film opened to rave reviews from both audiences and critics. Munjya saw a strong start at the box office, earning Rs 4 crores on its opening day. The first weekend showed a significant increase in numbers, with the film collecting Rs 19.25 crores.

According to Sacnilk, Munjya earned Rs 7.25 crores on its second day (first Saturday) and saw another jump on day three (first Sunday), raking in Rs 8 crores. Despite a drop in numbers on day four (first Monday), the film still performed well, earning Rs 3.75 crores. This brought the total box office collection to Rs 23 crores.
Interestingly, Munjya experienced just a 6% drop from its opening day collections, maintaining a strong presence at the box office. The Sharvari-Abhay starrer has outperformed Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi, which earned Rs 2.15 crores. Despite facing competition from Mr and Mrs Mahi, Munjya is holding its ground.
Discussing her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
