Munjya Box Office Day 3: Sharvari's Film Witnesses Notable Surge, Rivals Stree
Munjya Box Office Collection Day 3: Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, known for their successful horror comedies like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya, are now in the spotlight with their latest production, Munjya. The film, featuring Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi, and Sathyaraj, is inspired by Indian folklore and has received positive reviews. Munjya recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores, marking Sharvari's highest opener.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya has been praised not only for its storyline and performances but also for its VFX. Fans have particularly appreciated newcomer Abhay Verma's acting skills and his chemistry with Mona Singh and Sharvari. The positive reviews and word of mouth led to a significant increase in collections on the second day (first Saturday), with the film earning Rs 7.25 crores.

According to a report by Sacnilk, Munjya saw further growth on day 3 (first Sunday), collecting Rs 7.75 crores and bringing the overall total to Rs 19 crores. This figure is approximately half of Rajkummar Rao's Stree, which earned Rs 14.57 crores in its first three days. Despite expectations for a larger increase on Sunday, Munjya's performance was affected by competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi and the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match.
Sharvari spoke to ETimes about her character in Munjya, saying, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
