Munjya Box Office Collection Day 20: Film Set To Cross 90Cr Milestone

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 20 Prediction: Maddock Films' latest venture, Munjya, has been making waves in the industry since its release. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this horror comedy is based on the legend of Munjya from Indian folklore and stars Abhay Verma, Sharvari, Mona Singh, Suhasini Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Taranjot Singh. Notably, Munjya is the fourth film in their supernatural universe following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya.

Sharvari shared her thoughts on the film's success: "My producer Dinesh Vijan and my director Aditya Sarpotdar had an insanely massive aim to deliver a theatrical experience like no other through Munjya. They were clear that the CGI character needed to wow people and Dinesh sir went to the best VFX company to fulfil their vision. I was blown away when I saw the CGI character in the film and the audience is feeling the same too which is why our film is such a huge blockbuster."

Since its debut, Munjya has garnered significant attention and opened with rave reviews from audiences. The film made an impressive Rs 4 crores on its opening day. It maintained strong performance throughout its first week and continued its momentum into the second week. As it entered its third week, Munjya recorded the highest third Sunday of 2024 with earnings of Rs 6.85 crores. Despite a noticeable drop on the third Monday, it still holds strong at the box office.

According to Sacnilk's report, Munjya earned Rs 2.25 crores on day 18 (third Monday) and Rs 2.15 crores on day 19 (third Tuesday), bringing its total collection to Rs 87.70 crores. Based on current trends, it is expected to earn between Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 20/third Wednesday), potentially crossing the Rs 90 crores mark soon.

The film’s performance in its third week will be closely watched as Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD releases on June 27. This new release could impact Munjya's box office numbers significantly.
