Munjya Maintains Strong Box Office Presence On Day 19, Awaiting Kalki's Release

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 19: The film Munjya, starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari, has been making waves since its release. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this horror comedy is based on the legend of Munjya from Indian folklore. I was blown away when I saw the CGI character in the film and the audience is feeling the same too which is why our film is such a huge blockbuster".

After collecting Rs 4 crores on its opening day, Munjya had an impressive first week followed by a significant increase in earnings during its second weekend. The film crossed Rs 50 crores during this period and maintained strong box office numbers throughout its second week.

On its third Sunday, Munjya recorded the highest earnings for that day in 2024, bringing in Rs 6.85 crores. According to Sacnilk's report, it earned Rs 2.25 crores on day 18 (third Monday) and Rs 2.15 crores on day 19 (second Tuesday), bringing its total collection to Rs 87.70 crores.

The film's success can be attributed to various factors including Abhay Verma's performance, his chemistry with Sharvari and Mona Singh, as well as the impressive VFX work. As Munjya continues to perform well at the box office, it will be interesting to see how it fares in its third week with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD set to release on June 27.
