Munjya Eyes 70Cr Milestone Ahead Of Third Weekend At Box Office
Munjya Box Office Collection Day 15 Prediction: Abhay Verma and Sharvari are currently enjoying the success of their latest film, Munjya. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy inspired by Indian folklore. The film also features Mona Singh, Sathyaraj, Suhasini Joshi, and Taranjot Singh in prominent roles. It is the fourth instalment in Dinesh Vijan's Maddock's supernatural universe, following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya.
Munjya has received positive reviews from audiences, particularly for its CGI titular character. The film opened with a collection of Rs 4 crores on its first day and saw a significant increase over the opening weekend. During its first week, it maintained strong ticket sales. By the second weekend, Munjya had crossed the Rs 50 crores mark at the box office.

Although there has been a steady decline in collections during the second week, Munjya continues to perform well. It has been competing closely with Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion. According to Sacnilk, Munjya earned Rs 3.4 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday) and Rs 3 crores on day 13 (second Wednesday). Early estimates suggest that it collected Rs 2.50 crores on day 14 (second Thursday), bringing its total earnings to Rs 67.95 crores.
Based on current trends, Munjya is expected to maintain its box office performance and earn between Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 15/third Friday). With the release of Ishq Vishk Rebound, starring Rohit Sharaf, Pashmina Roshan, and Jibran Khan, it remains to be seen if Munjya will surpass the Rs 70 crores mark before the third weekend.
Discussing the film's success, Sharvari commented, "My producer Dinesh Vijan and my director Aditya Sarpotdar aimed to deliver an unparalleled theatrical experience through Munjya. They were determined that the CGI character needed to impress audiences. Dinesh sir collaborated with a top VFX company to bring their vision to life. I was amazed when I saw the CGI character in the film, and audiences are feeling the same way, which is why our film is such a huge hit."
