Munjya Predicted To Have Modest Opening Amid Box Office Rivals

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: After captivating audiences with horror comedies like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya, Dinesh Vijay and Amar Kaushik have teamed up once more for their fourth horror comedy. The film, Munjya, stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, Suhas Joshi, and Sathyaraj. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya draws inspiration from Indian folklore and mythology and is the fourth instalment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Munjya has generated significant interest with its intriguing trailer and ensemble cast. Despite receiving decent reviews so far, the film is anticipated to have a modest start at the box office. According to Pinkvilla, Munjya is expected to earn between Rs 1.75-2 crores on its opening day (Friday). The film has sold 3000 tickets for midnight shows in the top three multiplexes on Thursday. Additionally, MovieMax has sold 500 tickets for the opening day.

Munjya faces box office competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi. With Mr and Mrs Mahi performing well at the box office, it remains to be seen how Munjya will perform in the coming days.

Discussing her role in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing; many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character."
