Munjya Box Office Analysis

This horror comedy has been generating buzz since its announcement. Fans have eagerly awaited the fourth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. According to media reports, Munjya was made with a substantial budget, with around 50% allocated to VFX.

The audience has been highly impressed with Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's performances in Mr and Mrs Mahi, calling it their career-best. As fans rave about the film, it is reported that Mr and Mrs Mahi is likely to make an opening day collection of Rs 5-7 crores. "The 50 per cent cost of the film was spent on the VFX. And that's a big number. That's the conviction or the importance of the VFX ... We created a creature from CGI and VFX space which came from a lot of research and development and back and forth in trying to get it right," said director Aditya Sarpotdar to PTI.

Munjya Box Office Records

Munjya has managed to create significant buzz in town. Reports suggest that the movie may rake in around Rs 1.75-2 crores on its opening day, potentially becoming Sharvari's second-highest opener after Bunty Aur Babli 2, which earned Rs 2.60 crores on its release day.

Munjya Hit or Flop?

Munjya has received decent reviews from audiences so far, with fans praising its intriguing plot. Critics have also been impressed by this Sharvari-Abhay starrer. While Munjya is expected to have a slow start at the box office due to word-of-mouth promotion, it needs to earn a significant amount to be considered a true box office hit. Its performance in the coming days will be closely watched.
