Mrunal Thakur Critiques And Then Praises Fan For Photoshopped Diwali Celebration Image

Mrunal Thakur recently found herself in the spotlight due to a fan's photoshopped image. Fans often share edited pictures of their favourite celebrities online, but this particular edit didn't sit well with the 'Sita Ramam' star. The fan had inserted Mrunal into his Diwali celebration post, which caught her attention.

The edited video showed the fan lighting a firecracker with Mrunal, his arm around her. This prompted Mrunal to respond publicly. She took to the comment section and expressed her disapproval by writing, "Bhai kyu jhooti tassali de raha hain aap apne aap ko? Apko lagta hai aap jo yeh kar rahe hain woh cool hai? Ji nahi (Brother, why are you giving yourself the wrong impression? Why do you think what you are doing is cool? It is not)!"

After initially criticising the fan, Mrunal deleted her comment and took a lighter approach. She shared the video on her Instagram story, humorously praising the fan's creativity. Her message read, "Hope you edit good films one day! Good Luck Happy Diwali."

She further clarified her stance in another Instagram story. In a video, she jokingly remarked about her initial reaction to the edit. She said, "Yaar guys, aap log bachhe ki jaan loge kya? Maine woh comment kar diya kuch. Aur pehle jab maine dekha main khush hui. I was like, 'Chal kisi aur ke saath na sahi. Inn ke saath hi sahi, main Diwali toh mana rahi hoon'."

In her continued response, Mrunal shared more thoughts on the situation. She explained how she felt after discovering that the fan had edited videos with many actresses. "Fir, I opened his page and then I saw he's edited his videos with each and every actress. My heart was broken," she admitted.

Despite this revelation, she appreciated his editing skills and hoped he would use them positively. She added, "But I really love his editing skills. And I really pray and I hope that he uses his art for the right things." She also urged others not to criticise him harshly as his intentions might not have been negative.

On the professional front, Mrunal is set to appear alongside Varun Dhawan in an upcoming film directed by David Dhawan. Additionally, she will feature in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali project with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
