Mr And Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 8: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr And Mrs Mahi is facing strong competition from the latest release, Munjya, starring Sharvari and Abhay Verma. The film, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, premiered on May 31, 2024, and received mixed reviews from both fans and critics.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, known for Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mr And Mrs Mahi is Rajkummar Rao's second collaboration with Janhvi Kapoor after Roohi. The film tells the story of Mahendra (Rao) and Mahi (Kapoor), who share a passion for cricket.

Mr And Mrs Mahi opened with a box office collection of Rs 6.85 crores. Over its opening weekend, the film earned Rs 17.12 crores. However, the numbers began to decline towards the end of its first week.

The arrival of Sharvari-Abhay's horror-comedy Munjya further impacted the box office performance of Mr And Mrs Mahi. According to a recent Instagram post by Dharma Productions, the romantic sports-drama earned Rs 1.31 crores on its second Friday, bringing the total collection to Rs 26.20 crores.

Munjya, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and based on a supernatural creature from Maharashtrian folklore, earned Rs 4.21 crores on its first day in cinemas on June 7.
