Mr And Mrs Mahi's Box Office Journey: Crosses 20Cr Mark By Day 5

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 5: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's latest film, Mr and Mrs Mahi, has garnered significant attention. This movie marks their second collaboration after the 2021 horror comedy Roohi. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film centres on a couple's passion for cricket. The movie opened to positive reviews from audiences.

Mr and Mrs Mahi had an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores, making it the second highest opener for both Janhvi and Rajkummar after Dhadak and Stree respectively. Despite some struggles during the opening weekend, the film crossed the Rs 16 crores mark after a notable increase in numbers on its first Sunday (day 3), earning Rs 5.5 crores. However, Monday saw a significant drop of over 60% in collections.

According to Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi earned Rs 2.15 crores on Monday (day 4). On Tuesday (day 5), there was a slight decline with collections amounting to Rs 2.02 crores, bringing the total earnings to Rs 21.02 crores. The film is evidently striving to maintain its position at the box office.

Discussing his role in Mr and Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar Rao shared insights about his character Mahendra. "My character's name is Mahendra, he is a failed cricketer who had a lot of passion for cricket. He wanted to play for the country but couldn't due to peer and family pressure. He follows his father's path and marries Mahima. He then lives his dream through her as she plays cricket, deciding to train her while she is also a doctor," Rajkummar explained.
