Mr And Mrs Mahi's Day 5 Box Office: On Track To Surpass 20Cr Despite Challenges

Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's Mr and Mrs Mahi has garnered significant attention since its announcement. This film marks their second collaboration after the 2021 release Roohi. Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr and Mrs Mahi centres on a couple passionate about cricket. The cast also includes Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Zarina Wahab, Arjit Taneja, and Yamini Das in supporting roles.

Mr and Mrs Mahi opened to positive reviews from audiences and recorded an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores. This made it the second highest opener for both Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor after Stree and Dhadak respectively. However, despite a strong start, the film struggled at the box office over the opening weekend, with a noticeable drop in numbers on the second day (first Saturday).

The film experienced a slight increase in collections on the third day (first Sunday), but saw a significant drop of over 60% on the fourth day (first Monday). According to Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi earned Rs 2.15 crores on day 4 based on early estimates, bringing the total collection to Rs 19 crores. Given current trends, the film is expected to struggle today (day 5/first Tuesday) as it aims to surpass the Rs 20 crores mark. It is likely to earn around Rs 2 crores today.

Discussing his character and the film, Rajkummar Rao stated, "My character's name is Mahendra. He is a failed cricketer who had a lot of passion for cricket and aspired to play for the country. However, due to peer and family pressure, he couldn't achieve his dream. He follows the path shown by his father and marries Mahima. He lives his dream through her as she plays cricket, deciding to train her while she is also a doctor."
