Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr and Mrs Mahi stars Janhvi Kapoor alongside Rajkummar Rao. This film marks their second collaboration after the 2021 horror comedy Roohi. The story revolves around a couple sharing the same nickname, Mahi, and their passion for cricket. With a simple storyline and commendable performances, this sports romantic drama received positive reviews from viewers.

Despite an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores, Mr and Mrs Mahi has faced challenges at the box office. Although there was an increase in numbers during the opening weekend, the film has experienced consistent declines since then. The second weekend also saw a struggle in maintaining box office numbers. Currently in its second week, the film is finding it difficult to reach the Rs 1 crore mark in daily collections.

According to Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi earned Rs 85 lakhs on day 11 (second Monday) and Rs 90 lakhs on day 12 (second Tuesday), bringing its total collection to Rs 31.60 crores. Based on current trends, the film is expected to earn between Rs 70-80 lakhs today, making it challenging to reach the Rs 35 crores milestone.
