Mr And Mrs Mahi Day 12: Janhvi's Film Faces Box Office Hurdles
Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 12 Prediction: Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut with Dhadak in 2018, has established herself as a notable actress. She has impressed audiences with performances in films like Roohi, Mili, and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Her latest release, Mr and Mrs Mahi, directed by Sharan Sharma, is a sports romantic drama also starring Rajkummar Rao. This film marks Janhvi's second collaboration with Rajkummar and Sharan Sharma after Roohi and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
The movie generated significant buzz due to its cast, storyline, and songs, opening to positive reviews from the audience. With an opening day collection of Rs 6.75 crores, Mr and Mrs Mahi became Janhvi and Rajkummar's second highest openers after Dhadak and Stree respectively. However, despite favourable reviews and positive word of mouth, the film has struggled at the box office since its first week, failing to cross the Rs 25 crores mark in its first seven days.

Although Mr and Mrs Mahi experienced a slight increase in collections on its second Saturday (day 9), the second Sunday saw another decline. According to Sacnilk, the film's numbers dropped by 6%, collecting Rs 2 crores on day 10 (second Sunday). The situation worsened on the second Monday with a 55% drop in numbers, earning only Rs 90 lakhs (second Monday/ day 11), bringing the total collection to Rs 30.8 crores.
Based on current trends, Mr and Mrs Mahi is expected to continue struggling, likely earning Rs 80-85 lakhs today (day 12/ second Tuesday). The film faces stiff competition from Sharvari and Abhay Verma's Munjya, which is gaining momentum at the box office.
Despite the box office challenges, Janhvi Kapoor remains grateful for the audience's love post Mr and Mrs Mahi release. She expressed her gratitude by stating, "Your love has motivated me to keep going and keep working even harder and pushing myself in my craft. Your love is worth everything! Mr & Mrs Mahi is a piece of my heart and for all those who understood and connected with what we were trying to say, thank you".
