Mr and Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 11: Cricket is not just a game but a religion in India. And while several films have been made around the obsession for the game, Sharan Sharma has been making headlines for his recent release Mr and Mrs Mahi. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, Mr and Mrs Mahi narrates the story of a couple sharing the nickname 'Mahi' and their obsession for the game of cricket. Released on May 31st, this sports romantic drama has been among the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, Mr and Mrs Mahi marks Rajkummar and Janhvi's second collaboration after their 2021 release Roohi which was a horror comedy. As this Sharan Sharma directorial managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews from the audience. The fans not just loved the storyline but also hailed Rajkummar and Janhvi's chemistry. Notably, Mr and Mrs Mahi saw a good opening with a collection of Rs 6.75 crores on the opening day. In fact, it turned to be Rajkummar and Janhvi's second highest opener after Stree and Dhadak respectively.

However, after an average performance at the box office, Mr and Mrs Mahi was seen struggling with a continuous dip in numbers during the first week. While there were high hopes about Mr and Mrs Mahi witnessing a decent hike during the second week, it all went in vain. After minting Rs 2.15 crores on day 9 (second Saturday), the sport romantic drama saw a drop of 6% and minted Rs 2 crores on day 10 (second Sunday).

Now, as per a recent report published in Sacnilk, Mr and Mrs Mahi's struggles have intensified in the second week as the movie is struggling to rake in Rs 1 crore during a day. Reportedly, the film saw a significant drop of 55% in numbers and minted Rs 90 lakhs on day 11 (second Monday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 30.8 crores.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is over the moon about the love coming her way post Mr and Mrs Mahi release. Talking about the same, she stated, "Your love has motivated me to keep going and keep working even harder and pushing myself in my craft. Your love is worth everything! Mr & Mrs Mahi is a piece of my heart and for all those who understood and connected with what we were trying to say, thank you".
