ZEE5 Global Premieres Telugu Hit Mothevari Love Story

The anticipation is building for the premiere of "Mothevari Love Story," an original Telugu series set to debut on ZEE5 Global on August 8.

This series, which will be available in over 190 countries, is a blend of drama, comedy, and cultural nuances, promising viewers a unique entertainment experience.

It features Anil Geela and Varshini Reddy Junnuthula in the lead roles and is the brainchild of the talented director Shiva Krishna Burra.

This seven-episode journey unfolds in rural Telangana, where the peace of a family is disrupted, leading to a cascade of laugh-out-loud moments, all sparked by the complications arising from a single marriage.

At the heart of this charming narrative is a land dispute that escalates into a comedic love story involving the children of two feuding brothers, who are in secret love.

Set against the backdrop of a vibrant Telangana village, the plot thickens when a will left by the brothers' late father bequeaths five acres to an unknown woman.

Anand Deverakonda, who played a key role in unveiling the official poster and title of "Mothevari Love Story," shared his personal connection to the project. He recounted how Anil's earlier work with My Village Show on YouTube played a significant role in his preparation for his debut by helping him master the Telangana dialect.

"I've witnessed Anil's journey from his early days as a YouTube creator with My Village Show to now stepping into the spotlight as a lead actor. Back when I was preparing for my own debut, I studied the Telangana dialect by watching their content; they may not have known it, but it helped me immensely. That's why I'm truly happy to be here today, supporting and being part of this next chapter in his journey," he remarked during the series' poster and title launch event on July 9.

Anil Geela, taking on the role of lead actor, expressed his awe at his journey from a YouTube content creator to starring in a major streaming series. He credited his team at My Village Show for their support and acknowledged the significance of the opportunity provided by ZEE5 Global and Madhura Entertainment.

"I started my journey as a YouTube creator, and today, standing here as a lead actor feels surreal. It's all because of My Village Show team; this wouldn't have been possible without them. We always knew that at some point, our content might plateau, and we'd have to prepare for what's next—but I never imagined this would be the next.
