Dev Patel's 'Monkey Man' Set For Digital Release On Peacock In June 2024

Monkey Man OTT Release Date & Platform: Slumdog Millionaire actor Dev Patel made his directorial debut with 'Monkey Man'. The movie was released in cinemas on 4 April 2024 and became an instant critical and commercial success. The action-thriller earned over $34 million USD globally during its theatrical run. Now, two months after its theatrical release, Monkey Man is set for its digital release.

Co-written, directed and headlined by Dev Patel, Monkey Man is inspired by the legend of Hanuman. The movie follows the journey of an anonymous young man (played by Dev Patel) who embarks on a mission to seek justice against the corrupt leaders for killing his mother.

Headlined by Dev Patel, Monkey Man also stars an array of versatile actors including Sobhita Dhulipala as Sita, Sikandar Kher as Rana, Vipin Sharma as Alpha, Sharlto Copley as Tiger and Ashwini Kalsekar as Queenie Kapoor among others.

Dev Patel's Monkey Man had garnered a lot of praise from all over the world. And now, after a long wait, the digital release date has finally been announced. Monkey Man is all set to premiere on streaming platform Peacock on 11 June 2024.

The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD versions will be available from 25 June. Interestingly, the physical releases will be featuring deleted scenes and an alternate opening and ending.

For the unversed, Monkey Man had its world premiere at SXSW in March.
