Mohit Malik Reflects On His Journey And Emotions For Debut Film Azaad

Mohit Malik is celebrating a significant achievement with his debut film, Azaad. Known for his work on television, Mohit has now ventured into Bollywood, fulfilling a long-held aspiration. He shared his excitement and gratitude through an emotional Instagram post, detailing his journey and the overwhelming response to his film.

Reflecting on this milestone, Mohit expressed how it feels like a dream come true. He wrote, "This post feels really special because it marks the beginning of something I've always dreamed of-my debut film. Looking back, I never felt truly ready for the big screen until 2016. Up until then, it was just a distant dream, something I thought of but never really believed could be mine. But post-2016, something changed. I started allowing myself to dream bigger, to think that maybe, just maybe, I could actually try for films."

Mohit reminisced about watching other actors and imagining how he would portray roles differently. "There were so many times when I watched other actors on screen and thought, I would've done that differently," he shared. These moments fueled his passion and drove him forward despite doubts. Now in 2025, he is living the dream that once seemed unreachable.

Grateful for the support he received, Mohit thanked director Abhishek Kapoor for his invaluable guidance. "I can honestly say I'm stepping into this new phase of my career with so much more confidence," he stated. Working with Abhishek Kapoor has been transformative for Mohit both as an actor and as a person.

Mohit also expressed appreciation for his cast and crew's support during this journey.
