Harshita Gaur Discusses Fan Reactions To Mirzapur Season 3 Premiere Delay

Mirzapur 3: The wait is nearly over. The highly anticipated third season of Mirzapur is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video next month. The trailer, released at a grand event in Mumbai, has captured widespread attention, heightening excitement for the series. Mirzapur 3 features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, Sheeba Chaddha, among others.

Filmibeat recently spoke with Harshita Gaur, who plays Dimpy Pandit in the series. During the conversation, it was mentioned that Faisal Malik, known as Prahlad Cha from Panchayat, had shared that fans expressed frustration on social media due to the delayed announcement of Panchayat 3's release date.

When asked if she experienced similar reactions for Mirzapur 3, Harshita revealed, "If your fans can appreciate you, then they can give you abuses as well. You can't question them for using abusive words because you didn't question them about why they are loving you so much, so don't question them about using abusive words as well."

"So, yes, I used to get a lot of abuses on social media. In fact, when the promotions of Mirzapur 3 started and the teaser was not released, fans got more irritated and wanted to know the date. But I think now that anger has subsided and no one will ask when season 3 is coming," she added.

Discussing the wait for the new season, Harshita said, "It was very difficult because honestly though we are actors in the show, we are also the audience of it. So as audience we love the show so much that we were also waiting when it will come."

Mirzapur 3 is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 5th July 2024. Fans of the show are undoubtedly eager for this season.
