Mika Singh Questions How Coldplay Concert Tickets Sold Out So Quickly In India
Coldplay's upcoming concert in Mumbai has generated significant buzz. Scheduled for January 2025, the tickets were released online last month. Remarkably, they sold out within just 30 minutes. This rapid sale sparked a wave of humorous social media reels from those who missed out on securing tickets.
Mika Singh, who is set to perform in Mumbai this month, shared his thoughts on Coldplay's popularity in India. He remarked, "Coldplay and other artists, they are fantastic. But, they create these fake news about their ticket sales. They are not bigger than Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar, there are many big celebs in India. How can this happen that in 30 minutes all tickets get sold? Are so many people sitting with the phone? If I want to do a recharge it takes 1 hour. If you want to do some changes in a ticket, you have to be on a call for long. So, how one can buy a ticket so quickly?"

Mika Singh expressed concerns about concert ticket pricing strategies. He believes concerts should cater to diverse audiences with varied ticket prices. "Sometimes these artists give wrong message which should not happen," he stated. Mika advocates for ticket prices ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 50 lakh to ensure affordability for everyone.
Mika Singh is gearing up for his own concert at Phoenix Market City in Mumbai on 18th October. He shared his excitement, saying, "I am very excited about the concert because I love my fans. Where ever I am and whatever I am, it is only because of my beautiful-wonderful fans." Mika has been meticulously planning this event as part of a larger 10-city tour starting in Mumbai.
The anticipation surrounding both Coldplay's and Mika Singh's concerts highlights the vibrant music scene in India. Fans eagerly await these performances, showcasing the country's enthusiasm for international and local artists alike.
