Bhumi Rajgor Emerges As The Enigmatic 'Stree' In Latest Bollywood Sequel

In 'Stree 2', Bhumi Rajgor takes over as the new 'Stree', replacing Flora Saini from the first film. Bhumi's portrayal of the character in a red-veiled saree has captivated audiences. Her performance adds a fresh dimension to the sequel.
Bhumi Rajgor hails from Ahmedabad and began her career in Gujarati cinema. She is a trained Kathak dancer who later became a makeup artist before transitioning to acting in Bollywood.
Bhumi made her Bollywood debut with 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', portraying Kiara Advani's sister. She also starred in Gujarati films like 'Fakt Mahilao Maate' (2022) and 'Hurry Om Hurry' (2023). Currently, she boasts over 73.3k followers on Instagram.
Discussing her journey with TOI, Bhumi said, "I am a trained Kathak dancer and I always wanted to become an actress."
"But earlier, my family had concerns about whether the film industry is safe enough for women. My mother had a salon in Ahmedabad, and I trained to become a makeup artist. I lived in Mumbai for a long time and I have worked with several celebrities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to shut down the salon," she added.
The inclusion of Bhumi Rajgor as Stree has added intrigue to 'Stree'. Her background as a dancer and makeup artist enriches her portrayal of this complex character.
