Marco Hindi Box Office Collection Day 25: Unni Mukundan's Film Experiences Significant Decline Amid Reduced Screens
Unni Mukundan's Malayalam action film, 'Marco,' has captivated Hindi-speaking audiences since its release on 20th December 2024. Known for its intense violence, the movie faced stiff competition from other language films. Initially, it had a slow start at the box office but later gained momentum in Hindi regions, leading to an increase in showings.
Featuring Unni Mukundan, Yukti Thareja, Jagadish, and Kabir Duhan Singh, 'Marco' is a sequel to the 2019 film 'Michael.' The movie received positive feedback and maintained strong ticket sales nationwide. In Hindi-speaking areas, it experienced significant growth during its second and third weeks.

On its 25th day, 'Marco' saw a decline of over 50% in earnings due to fewer screens available. It collected approximately Rs 20 lakhs on that day. Previously, it earned Rs 43 lakhs on the fourth Sunday. The total collection in the Hindi belt now stands at an estimated Rs 12.08 crore over 25 days.
The film's weekly earnings are as follows: Week 1 brought in ₹28 lakhs; Week 2 saw ₹4.6 crore; Week 3 accumulated ₹5.92 crore. On Day 22 (4th Friday), it earned ₹23 lakhs; Day 23 (4th Saturday) brought ₹42 lakhs; Day 24 (4th Sunday) reached ₹43 lakhs; and Day 25 (4th Monday) added ₹20 lakhs. The total collection amounts to Rs 12.08 crores.
'Marco,' a Malayalam-language action-thriller about a gangster named Marco, was produced with a substantial budget of Rs 30 crore. The filmmakers have not yet finalized an agreement with any OTT platform for digital streaming after its theatrical run.
