Unni Mukundan Discusses Violence in Marco
The film Marco contains scenes of blood and violence, as evident from its trailer. Lead actor Unni Mukundan asserts that the movie does not endorse such themes: "Violence has always been a part of human evolution," he stated in an interview with India Today.
Mukundan further elaborated on this aspect by saying, "World cinema also boasts action and violence. Additionally, the audiences have matured and come a long way." When asked about the extent of violence depicted, Mukundan mentioned, "It's just 30 percent of what we actually wanted to shoot."
"We have not tried to glorify it; we have shot it aesthetically and tried to present it in a way that the audience can understand," Mukundan added.
The film Marco is directed and written by Haneef Adeni and features Yukti Thareja and Kabir Duhan Singh alongside Mukundan in significant roles.
