Marco Box Office Collection Day 17: Unni Mukundan’s Film Surpasses Rs 8.85 Crores With Strong Performance

Marco Box Office Collection Day 17 (Hindi): Unni Mukundan's latest film, Marco, has emerged as a major release in 2024. Known for its intense action and violence, the movie has captivated audiences. Directed by Haneef Adeni, it stars Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja. Both critics and viewers have praised the film.

Initially released in Malayalam, Marco was later dubbed into Hindi, surprising many with its appeal. The trailer, cast, and plot generated excitement among viewers. Although it had a slow start at the box office during its first week, the film gained momentum in the second week and saw further growth over the third weekend.

The movie began its third week strongly with significant growth over the weekend. According to Sacnilk reports, Marco earned Rs 1.3 crores on day 16 (third Saturday) and Rs 1.6 crores on day 17 (third Sunday) in the Hindi market. This brought its total earnings to Rs 8.85 crores.

In the Hindi-speaking regions, Marco maintained a steady presence at the box office. With Rs 1.3 crores collected on third Saturday and Rs 1.6 crores on third Sunday, its total collection for the third weekend reached Rs 2.9 crores.

Producer Shareef Muhammed discussed the film's violent content in an interview with Red FM Malayalam. He stated, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules".

The film's journey reflects its ability to engage audiences despite initial challenges at the box office. Its success highlights how compelling storytelling and strong performances can resonate with viewers across different languages and regions.
