Marco Box Office Collection Day 15: Unni Mukundan’s Film Sees Increased Numbers As It Enters Week Three

Unni Mukundan's latest film, "Marco," has been making waves since its release on December 20. Directed by Haneef Adeni, this action thriller has garnered significant attention both in India and abroad. The movie features a talented ensemble cast including Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja. Originally in Malayalam, "Marco" was dubbed in Hindi to reach a broader audience, enhancing its appeal and performance in the Hindi-speaking regions.

After the New Year festivities, "Marco" experienced a dip in earnings, collecting Rs 65 lakhs on its 14th day in the Hindi market. However, as it entered its third week, there was a noticeable increase in box office numbers.

On the 15th day (third Friday), reports from Sacnilk indicated that "Marco" earned Rs 80 lakhs. This pushed its total earnings in the Hindi market to Rs 5.73 crores, surpassing the Rs 5 crore milestone.

In an interview with Red FM Malayalam, producer Shareef Muhammed addressed the film's violent content. He stated, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules."

"Marco" continues to captivate audiences with its compelling storyline and strong performances. Its success highlights the film's ability to engage viewers across different languages and regions.
