Marco Box Office Collection Day 14: Unni Mukundan’s Film Experiences Significant Decline
Unni Mukundan is currently enjoying a wave of success. His latest film, Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni, has been making headlines for positive reasons. Released on December 20, this action thriller has not only captivated audiences in India but also worldwide. Marco, featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, is considered one of the most intense films in Indian cinema.
Marco's impressive trailer and star-studded cast have generated significant buzz. The film features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja. Initially released in Malayalam, Marco's Hindi dubbed version has also won over audiences. The film has been performing well at the box office, especially during New Year celebrations.

On New Year's Day, Marco achieved its highest single-day earnings but experienced a 43% drop on day 14 (second Thursday). According to Sacnilk reports, the film earned Rs 1.15 crores on day 13 (second Wednesday) and Rs 65 lakhs on day 14 in the Hindi market. This brought its total Hindi market earnings to Rs 4.93 crores.
Despite a slow start in its first week at the box office, Marco saw a notable increase in its second week. Sacnilk reported that the film collected Rs 4.65 crores during this period in the Hindi-speaking regions.
In an interview with Red FM Malayalam, producer Shareef Muhammed discussed the film's violent content: "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules".
