Marco Box Office Collection Day 13: Unni Mukundan's Film Achieves Highest Earnings Amid New Year Celebrations
Unni Mukundan's latest film, Marco, has been making waves in the cinema world. Directed by Haneef Adeni, this action thriller features a stellar cast including Siddique, Jagadish, and Yukti Tareja. The film has been a hot topic since its release, receiving positive feedback from both audiences and critics alike.
Marco initially premiered in Malayalam on December 20 and was later dubbed into Hindi. Despite being one of India's most violent films, it has performed well at the box office. As it enters its second week, Marco continues to draw crowds and maintain strong earnings.

The film collected Rs 55 lakhs on its second Monday (day 11) and saw an increase to Rs 60 lakhs on the following day. The New Year celebrations brought a significant boost to its earnings. According to Sacnilk, Marco earned Rs 1.2 crores on the second Wednesday (day 13), bringing its total Hindi market collection to Rs 4.33 crores.
On day 13, Marco achieved its highest single-day earnings by surpassing the Rs 1 crore mark for the first time. Previously, it had not exceeded Rs 85 lakhs in a single day.
Producer Shareef Muhammed addressed the film's violent content in an interview with Red FM Malayalam. He stated, "The Censor team has not fully cut down the violence. They have only reduced the brutality. All violent scenes will have a varying range of brutality. And whenever the brutality was high, the Censor Board recommended to reduce it. It was more brutal, in some scenes. But that the Censor cut as it is against their rules".
