Sony LIV is gearing up to release a captivating crime thriller series, Manvat Murders. This series delves into one of the most chilling historical events that shook the nation between 1972 and 1974. Directed by Ashish Bende, it will bring this terrifying chapter to life.

The series centres on the crucial hours that could determine the case's outcome. It follows investigative teams led by Detective Officer Ramakant S. Kulkarni from CID, often referred to as the Sherlock Holmes of India. He showcases unwavering commitment, persistence, and expertise in solving complex cases.

Produced by Storyteller's Nook (Mahesh Kothare and Adinath Kothare) and created by Girish Joshi, Manvat Murders is based on Ramakant S. Kulkarni's autobiographical work, "Footprints on the Sand of Crime". The show features an impressive cast including Ashutosh Gowariker, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sai Tamhankar.
