The official synopsis of the film states, "After his younger brother is tragically killed over a petty argument, a feared and retired criminal Bhaiyya Ji sets out to seek justice against the powerful Gujjar responsible, mobilizing his loyal comrades and igniting a wave of vengeance that threatens to shake the criminal underworld."

Manoj Bajpayee's 'Bhaiyya Ji' had a modest opening in theatres. According to Sacnilk, the film earned around Rs 1.30 crore (early estimates) on its first day.

The film recorded an overall 9.45% Hindi occupancy on Friday, 24th May 2024.

Bhaiyya Ji Fails To Beat Srikanth On Day 1

The opening day collection of Manoj Bajpayee's milestone film is nearly half of what Rajkummar Rao's biographical drama 'Srikanth' collected on its first day. According to T-Series, the Srikanth Bolla biopic earned Rs 3.40 crores on its opening day.
