Manjari Fadnis Embraces Nature In Viral Saree Shoot Inspired By Mandakini

Actress Manjari Fadnis has recently captured the attention of the internet with her latest saree photoshoot. Fans have been quick to compare her look to that of Bollywood icon Mandakini. Known for her roles in films like "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na" and "Grand Masti," Manjari's bold transformation has left many surprised.

When asked about being likened to Mandakini, who became famous for her saree scene in "Ram Teri Ganga Maili," Manjari laughed and told Filmibeat, "Haha, I'll take that as a compliment. Mandakini was quite the sensation. So, thank you! But that wasn't our plan."

The concept for this shoot came from Manjari's close friend and photographer M. Fahim. He envisioned capturing her in a natural setting without makeup, highlighting the beauty of nature in its purest form.

"It was the idea of my very dear friend and an extremely talented photographer, M. Fahim. He had been wanting to shoot me in a concept no one has seen me in before. The idea was to capture me in a personal moment, just enjoying being by herself in nature, completely uninhibited," Manjari shared.

The visuals were captured at an undiscovered waterfall in Mulshi during monsoon season. The red saree added drama to the scenic backdrop.

Explaining further, Manjari said, "He wanted to play around with a Fire, Water, and Rain kind of scenario. The location was perfect for creating this unique atmosphere. The final video was titled, 'A Never-ending love affair with nature and water...' I thought it would be refreshing for my audience to see me in a new light. And since I'm always up for experimenting, I jumped at it!"

The striking images of Manjari draped in a red saree against lush greenery have captivated fans on social media. Many have praised her for stepping out of her comfort zone and embracing this uninhibited side while others have applauded the refreshing aesthetic of the shoot.
