Mamta Kulkarni Transitions From Bollywood Star To Sadhvi At Mahakumbh 2023

Once a well-known actress, Mamta Kulkarni has now embraced a spiritual path. Born in 1972, she never married, despite rumours linking her to Vicky Goswami. Addressing these speculations, she clarified, "I'm not married to anyone because I've never had the time for that." Her Bollywood journey began in 1991 with the Tamil film Nanbargal, but she gained fame acting alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Mamta's Bollywood career took off when she starred with Raaj Kumar and Nana Patekar. Her role in Karan Arjun with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan made her a household name. Following this success, she appeared in films like Kabhie Tum Kabhi Hum, Aashiq Awara, and Baazi. However, Mamta decided to leave the film industry in 2003 after her last appearance in the Bengali movie Shesh Bongsodhar.

Recently, Mamta has taken "sanyaas" and is on the path to becoming a Sadhvi. This decision followed her visit to Mahakumbh at Kinnar Akhara on Friday. She received blessings from Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and engaged in discussions for nearly an hour. Videos of Mamta at Mahakumbh have been widely shared online.

Discussing her choice to take sanyas, Mamta stated, "Mahadev aur mahakali ka adesh tha, isliye aaj ka din unhone choose kiya, maine kuch nahi kiya." Her transition into spirituality marks a significant shift from her previous life as an actress.
