Malhar: Vishal Kumbha's Anthology Film To Premiere On May 31

Malhar Poster Launch In Mumbai: Over recent years, anthology films have gained popularity in cinemas. "Malhar" is set to premiere on May 31, featuring seasoned actors like Srinivas Pokle, Sharib Hashmi, and Anjali Patil. This upcoming film presents a fusion of three interconnected stories unfolding in a single village.

The launch of producer Praful Pasad's film "Malhar" took place at Red Bulb Studio in Mumbai, attended by the entire film team, including the producer, director, and cast. Anjali Patil's distinct appearance in the poster offers a sneak peek into her character, while Sharib Hashmi's notable mustache also makes an impression.

Malhar Film Premieres May 31

Producer Praful Pasad explains about the movie, "Malhar Village is a wonderful confluence of three stories taking place in Kutch." He adds, "We have woven the film in an interesting manner so that the audience gets complete entertainment." The producer claims that the film tells the story of two best friends as they struggle to get his hearing aid repaired.

Actress Anjali Patil, known for her work in Hindi, Marathi, and South Indian cinema, expresses her excitement about the engagement story in "Malhar." She says, "One of the three stories in the film is of Kesar who has recently got married to Laxman, son of the sarpanch of that village." She adds, "Even after a few days of marriage she is not getting pregnant so her in-laws are continuously cursing her and how does she get out of it."

Actor Sharib Hashmi expresses contentment to be a part of Malhar, saying, "Out of the three stories of the film, one story is of Javed and his elder sister Jasmine. Jasmine falls in love with a Hindu boy, Jatin. The story shows their struggle to meet and live together, how they face this love and its consequences, this is what the story is about."

The film stars Srinivas Pokle, Sharib Hashmi, Anjali Patil, Rishi Saxena, Mohammed Samad, and Akshata Acharya in lead roles. The movie is produced by Praful Pasad and directed by Vishal Kumbha. Malhar's dialogues are given by Siddharth Salvi and Swapnil Sitaram while the screenplay is by Vishal Kumbhar and Apoorva Patil. Cinematography is by Ganesh Kamble, editing by Akshay Kumar, and music by T. Satish & Sarang Kulkarni. It will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Marathi languages on May 31.
