Upon his visit, CM Ekanth Shinde was seen entering Salman Khan's residence, where he was greeted by the actor along with notable figures such as Salim Khan, Baba Siddiqui, and Zeeshan Siddiqui. In his statement to the press, Shinde conveyed a strong message of support to Salman Khan, emphasizing that the government stands firmly with him. He revealed that immediate actions had been taken, leading to the arrest of two suspects involved in the firing incident.

This act of violence has been linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, whose brother Anmol Bishnoi later claimed responsibility for the attack through a social media post, ominously warning of further actions.

In a significant development, Gujarat police apprehended two individuals connected to the shooting. Vicky Gupta, aged 24, and Sagar Pal, aged 21, both hailing from Bihar, were arrested and subsequently handed over to Mumbai Crime Branch. They are currently in custody until April 25, awaiting further investigation into their involvement in this audacious act against one of Bollywood's most iconic figures.
