Lootere Series' Soundtrack By Achint Thakkar Garners Acclaim On Major Music Platforms

Disney+ Hotstar's drama Lootere has garnered positive reviews from both audiences and critics. The series' music, presented by Sony Music and composed by Achint Thakkar, has become a significant talking point. Director Jai Mehta emphasized the importance of music in his vision. He described it as his "secret weapon" in filmmaking. For Lootere, Mehta aimed for the music to stand out and drive the narrative. The scratch tracks were created before editing, reversing the usual process. Achint Thakkar, a long-time friend of Mehta, was the ideal choice to bring this vision to life.

Mehta shared, "I sent Achint a playlist capturing the series' mood before he saw the script. I then gave him creative freedom. The music shaped the narrative and influenced the script. The rave reviews validated our experimental approach. I'm proud to say this is Achint's best work and some of the finest music to come out of India recently."

Composer Achint Thakkar credited the collaborative process for the success of the music. He stated, "The real art comes out when collaborators trust the artist. Jai and Hansal sir did just that. They asked me to write the story musically. I think that truly worked with the audience as they could see the whole story come alive by just listening to a soundtrack."
