Life Hill Gayi Review: Promised Laughs Fall Flat In Kapila & Divyenndu's Show
Life Hill Gayi Review: Kusha Kapila and Divyenndu are celebrated for their impeccable comic timing. When the announcement came that they would star in a show called Life Hill Gayi, anticipation was high. The trailer hinted at numerous laugh-out-loud moments. But does the show live up to the hype? Read our review to find out...

The plot centres on siblings Kalki (Kusha Kapila) and Dev (Divyenndu). They are extremely wealthy, but their grandfather (Kabir Bedi) sets them a challenge: they must revive an old hotel in the hill station of Panchmoli. The sibling who successfully runs the hotel will inherit all the property. Kalki and Dev accept this challenge, and the story follows their journey as they attempt to restart the hotel and overcome various obstacles.
Kusha Kapila, Divyenndu, and Vinay Pathak strive to elevate this show with their performances. Each actor excels in their respective roles. However, the weak screenplay and narration limit their ability to fully showcase their talents. Mukti Mohan performs decently in her role, though she inconsistently maintains her Garhwali accent across scenes.
The core idea of Life Hill Gayi is promising, but it falls short of expectations. The show begins engagingly, making viewers anticipate humorous challenges faced by Kalki and Dev. Unfortunately, these challenges are resolved too easily, lacking drama and substantial comedy. While there are moments that might make you smile or giggle, genuine laugh-out-loud scenes are absent.
Overall, Life Hill Gayi is underwhelming. Despite its potential to be a standout comedy on OTT platforms, it fails to deliver. Thus, it can be skipped.
