Life Hill Gayi: Sibling Rivalry Turns To Laughter In New Disney+ Hotstar Series

Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the trailer for its new series, "Life hill Gayi," a heartland drama filled with humour and chaos. The story follows siblings Dev and Kalki, who are stripped of their wealth and must race to secure their family inheritance in a small town in Uttarakhand. Produced by Aarushi Nishank and Himshrri Films, directed by Prem Mistry, and written by Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, the series will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting 9th August.

The series features Divyenndu and Kusha Kapila as the iconic sibling duo Dev and Kalki. They are joined by a talented cast including Vinay Pathak, Kabir Bedi, Bhagyashree, Mukti Mohan, and Aditi Govitrikar. Divyenndu's impeccable comic timing paired with Kusha Kapila's charm promises to deliver a memorable viewing experience.

Actor Divyenndu shared his thoughts on playing Dev: "Dev believes in living life king size. While he puts on a brave, know-it-all face, he is actually vulnerable and affectionate. I was looking forward to a story like this that allows me to explore both my humorous and soft sides. Off-screen, Kusha and I became like family despite our on-screen quarrels. 'Life hill Gayi' is a relatable story of a dysfunctional family, and I hope audiences enjoy this light-hearted series."

Actress Kusha Kapila expressed her excitement about playing Kalki: "Kalki's character is incredibly funny, dynamic, and relatable. From the moment I was introduced to her, I fell in love with her determination, boss-lady vibe, and authenticity. Her relationship with her family is unconventional but unbreakable. Families aren't meant to be perfect; their true beauty lies in their imperfections. Working with Divyenndu as my on-screen sibling and Vinay Pathak as my dad has been such a joy because banter comes naturally to all of us."
