Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Targets Comedian Munawar Faruqui Following Threats To Salman Khan

Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have been making headlines for their criminal activities. They have been linked to plans against Bollywood star Salman Khan and the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. Recent reports suggest that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi also targeted Munawar Faruqui, a well-known comedian and winner of Bigg Boss 17. The question arises: why is Munawar on their hit list?

The Bishnoi gang has had a long-standing feud with Salman Khan. Earlier this year, shots were fired outside Khan's Mumbai home, Galaxy Apartments, allegedly by members of Bishnoi's gang. The 31-year-old gangster has repeatedly threatened the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor due to the 1989 blackbuck poaching case. The Bishnoi community holds the blackbuck sacred, and Salman was accused of killing one during the filming of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Rajasthan.

Reports indicate that the gang also planned to kill comedian Munawar Faruqui. According to Times Now, Munawar was targeted for allegedly mocking Hindu deities in his comedy routines. The 32-year-old comedian had previously spent time in jail for jokes about Hinduism during one of his performances.

In September, the Bishnoi gang reportedly plotted an attack on Munawar at an event in Delhi. Two gunmen allegedly traveled on the same flight as Munawar from Mumbai to Delhi. They also booked rooms at the same hotel where Munawar was staying.

The police received a tip-off about the plan and ensured Munawar's safe return to Mumbai under tight security provided by Mumbai Police.
