Kill Movie By Lakshya Witnesses Uptick In Box Office During Opening Weekend
Kill Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Debutante Lakshya has every reason to be thrilled. His first film, Kill, an intense action thriller, has received mixed reviews from audiences. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain, the movie also stars Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala in significant roles. Despite the mixed response, Lakshya's performance has been widely praised.
Although Kill was released on a limited number of screens, it faced stiff competition from Deepika Padukone and Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD. This competition is evident in Kill's box office performance. Despite positive reviews, the film had a slow start and did not surpass the Rs 2 crores mark on its opening day. However, there was a slight increase in collections over the opening weekend.

According to Sacnilk's report, Kill earned Rs 1.25 crores on its opening day. The numbers saw a modest rise on the second day (first Saturday), with early estimates suggesting it collected Rs 1.90 crores. This brought the total collection to Rs 3.15 crores. Following this trend, Kill is expected to see another increase today (day 3/first Sunday), potentially earning between Rs 2-2.5 crores.
Lakshya recently shared his thoughts about his debut film's premiere at the Toronto Film Festival with Cosmopolitan: "Honestly, after we shot the film last year, I saw it for the first time at the Toronto Film Festival screening. I was sitting bang in the middle of an audience of 1,700 people, and their unfiltered, most honest reactions were a massive validation for me as an actor, an artist, and for everybody who was a part of that film. I don't have words to describe the experience as I had never been at the receiving end of anything like this ever before."
The movie's gradual growth in box office collections indicates that word-of-mouth might be helping it gain traction among viewers. The initial mixed reviews seem to be balancing out as more people watch and discuss Lakshya's performance and the film's gripping storyline.
Despite facing tough competition from other major releases like Kalki 2898 AD, Kill is slowly carving out its space in theatres. The film’s producers are hopeful that this upward trend will continue as more audiences discover it.
The overall reception of Kill highlights Lakshya’s potential as a promising new talent in Bollywood. His debut performance has set high expectations for his future projects.
As Kill continues its run in cinemas, industry analysts will be closely watching its box office performance to see if it can maintain or even exceed current predictions.
The coming days will reveal whether Kill can sustain its momentum and achieve higher box office numbers despite initial challenges.
