Khushi Mukherjee, known for her bold persona, openly embraces her sensuality. Recently, she shared insights about her challenging experiences in the film industry. In an interview, she discussed how the industry often tries to commodify female sensuality. Khushi has taken on a creative role for her upcoming film, Be Bold Be Courageous, where she aims to highlight these issues.
Khushi Mukherjee believes in being unapologetically herself and wants her sensuality to be her hallmark. She acknowledged facing exploitation like many others in the industry. Khushi stated, "Sometimes people don't want to open up about it." She added, "Nobody forces you; it's all about your choice whether you would like to be exploited or exploit your sensuality. I chose to exploit my sensuality in my own way."

Recalling a specific incident, Khushi shared that at 18, she signed her first film and attended a photoshoot. The financiers approached her with inappropriate requests. When she refused, she was removed from the project. The casting director pressured her by saying, "you have to do it at one point of time so why not now."
Khushi Mukherjee aims to redefine sensuality in Indian cinema through her new project. She wants women to portray their true selves on screen. Drawing parallels with legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, who excelled due to their natural talents, Khushi expressed pride in flaunting her body as she feels blessed with it.
Discussing Be Bold Be Courageous, Khushi revealed her goal of empowering women who have faced exploitation or trauma. She emphasized that societal norms often mislead women into accepting inappropriate behaviour. Khushi concluded by stating, "Even if it is your husband, women have to learn to say no."
