Amit Trivedi has composed the soulful tracks for the series. Meanwhile, Azadi Records has crafted the indie hip-hop numbers that add a unique flavour to the show.
Before the release of Khalbali Records, Saloni Batra shared insights about her character and her reasons for joining the project in an interview with Filmibeat.
Discussing her approach to understanding her role, Saloni Batra stated, "Whenever I receive a new project, I immerse myself in it as if I'm living the story. I delve so deeply into my character that, as I move from one scene to the next, I am fully aware of where I'm coming from and what my character should be. I focus on what I'm trying to convey in each line and how the story and character should come across. I aim for my preparation to be so thorough that I don't need to think on set; I know that overthinking could spoil things. I need to understand my character so well that I know how she moves, eats, speaks, and what her background and feelings are. For me, preparation is crucial."
Saloni also elaborated on her character Ananya in Khalbali Records: "Ananya, my character from Khalbali Records, is determined to balance her family dynamics, whether it's with her father or her brother. Despite her father's opposition, she stands her ground, breaks stereotypes, and eventually becomes the CEO of a company. In summary, Ananya aims to improve her family relationships and support her brother while achieving her own success."
Khalbali Records will be available for streaming exclusively on JioCinema Premium starting September 12.
