Khadaan Box Office Collection Day 14: Dev's Action-Thriller Achieves Historic Success And Sets New Records

Dev's latest film, 'Khadaan', has been a significant success in the Tollywood industry. Released on 20th December 2024 in Bengal, this action-thriller directed by Soojit Dutta marked Dev's return to mainstream entertainment after several serious roles. The movie features a star-studded cast including Jissu Sengupta, Barkha Bisht, John Bhattacharya, and Idhika Paul. Following its regional success, 'Khadaan' is now set for a nationwide release on 3rd January 2025.

In its first week alone, 'Khadaan' earned approximately Rs 6.60 crore, according to West Bengal Box Office reports. On the second Thursday, it collected around Rs 25 lakhs, bringing its total earnings for the week to Rs 4.7 crore. As of now, the film's estimated nett collection stands at Rs 11.30 crore over two weeks.

The film achieved remarkable milestones during its run. On New Year's Day, it recorded its highest single-day earnings with approximately Rs 1.60 crore. Reports indicate that 'Khadaan' is the fastest Bengali film to surpass the Rs 10 crore mark at the box office. It also outperformed previous hits like 'Chander Pahar', boasting the highest second-week nett collection in Bengali cinema history.

Week-by-week earnings highlight its success: ₹6.60 crore in Week 1 and ₹4.7 crore in Week 2, totalling an impressive Rs 11.30 crore.

'Khadaan' has not only captivated audiences but also set new benchmarks for Bengali films at the box office as it steps into 2025 with strong momentum.
