Khadaan Box Office Collection Day 8: Dev's Film Exceeds Budget Ahead Of Second Weekend
Bengali superstar Dev Adhikari is celebrating the success of his latest film, 'Khadaan'. Directed by Soojit Dutta, the movie is on track to become the highest-grossing Bengali film, surpassing 'Bohurupi' starring Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Abir Chatterjee. Released on 20th December 2024, 'Khadaan' faced competition from two other Bengali films but managed to draw large audiences to theatres.
The action-thriller drama 'Khadaan', featuring Dev and Jisshu Sengupta in lead roles, continues to perform well at the box office. It competes with major releases like Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' and Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2'. The film opened with a strong collection of 68 lakhs due to high anticipation and positive word-of-mouth.

Jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films, 'Khadaan' saw a significant rise in earnings during its first week. It collected approximately Rs 5.6 crore in that period. On the second Friday, the film experienced a slight decline, earning around Rs 46 lakhs. Despite this dip, it maintained a steady presence at Bengal's ticket counters.
