Khadaan Box Office Collection Day 20: Dev's Action Drama Surpasses Rs 15 Crore Mark

Bengali superstar Dev Adhikari is enjoying consecutive successes with his films 'Tekka' and 'Khadaan'. Not only did he star in 'Khadaan', but he also co-produced it alongside Nishpal Singh's Surinder Films. Directed by Soojit Dutta, this Bengali action-drama premiered on 20th December 2024. It clashed with Subhashree-Mithun Chakraborty’s 'Shontaan' and Tota Roy Chowdhury's 'Chaalchitro: The Frame Fatale', yet emerged victorious.

'Khadaan', featuring Dev, is on track to become the top-grossing film of 2024, surpassing Abir Chatterjee-Shiboprasad Mukherjee's 'Bohurupi'. With co-stars like Jisshu Sengupta and John Bhattacharya, the film is setting new box office records daily. It achieved the second-biggest opening for a Bangla film and was the fastest to cross Rs 10 crore at the box office.

The movie also became the highest first-week grosser for a Bengali film, earning over Rs 7.26 crore in its initial week. According to The Top India report, 'Khadaan' added Rs 84 lakhs on its third Tuesday. However, there was a slight decrease the following day, with earnings around Rs 70 lakhs on Wednesday, January 8th.

Following its success in Bengal, 'Khadaan' was released nationwide on January 3rd, 2025. The film is expected to have another strong performance during its fourth weekend. The cast and crew recently celebrated their triumph at a Kolkata restaurant.

As of now, the total nett collection stands at an estimated Rs 15.30 crore after 20 days. This impressive figure positions 'Khadaan' ahead as it enters its fourth week in theatres.
