Khadaan Box Office Collection Day 16: Dev's Film Surpasses Projapati's Lifetime Earnings And Sets New Record
The Bengali film 'Khadaan' has captivated audiences across the nation, making a significant impact at the box office. Directed by Soojit Dutta, this film marks the return of Bengali superstar Dev (Dev Adhikari) to the massy genre after several years. Since its release, both critics and viewers have praised the film, leading to its nationwide release on 3rd January 2025. As it enters its third weekend, 'Khadaan' has already reached a remarkable milestone.
Featuring Dev alongside Jisshu Sengupta, Barkha Bisht, John Bhattacharya, and Idhika Paul, 'Khadaan' continues to perform strongly at the box office. In its first week alone, it collected Rs 7.26 crore and quickly joined the Rs 10 crore club.

The producers of 'Khadaan', Dev Entertainment Ventures and Surinder Films, recently shared on Instagram that the film amassed over Rs 12.3 crore domestically within 15 days.
According to The Top India website, by day 16, 'Khadaan' had collected Rs 13.20 crore in total. It was projected to earn approximately Rs 90 lakhs on its third Saturday.
A tweet from West Bengal Box Office revealed that 'Khadaan' has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Dev-Mithun Chakraborty's successful film 'Projapati' from 2022.
The tweet also mentioned that 'Khadaan' is now ranked as the fourth highest-grossing Bengali film worldwide, following 'Amazon Obhijaan', 'Chander Pahar', and 'Bohurupi'.
