Chandu Champion Surpasses ₹35Cr In Week One, Kartik Aaryan's Role Lauded

Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 7: Kartik Aaryan, known for his romantic roles, is now making headlines with his latest release. Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is one of the year's most anticipated films. This sports biographical drama tells the story of India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. Kartik's portrayal in this film has been widely praised.

Featuring Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, and Vijay Raaz in key roles, Chandu Champion received rave reviews from audiences. Fans have termed it Kartik's best performance to date. Despite positive feedback, the film recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4.75 crores. Although it saw a good hike during the opening weekend, it struggled at the box office during its first week.

According to Sacnilk, Chandu Champion has experienced a continuous drop in numbers throughout its first week. The film saw a significant drop of 48% on day 4 (first Monday), earning Rs 5 crores. On day 5 (first Tuesday), it collected Rs 3.25 crores, followed by Rs 3 crores on day 6 (first Wednesday). Early estimates suggest that Chandu Champion earned Rs 2.50 crores on day 7 (first Thursday), bringing its total collection to Rs 35.25 crores.

Kabir Khan recently addressed the film's low opening in an interview with Times Now. He said, "The slow start did throw us off balance. But luckily, the word-of-mouth was positive. Let's see how it goes from here. Nowadays, it's hard to predict anything about the box office. We made a film which we thought would be liked by the audience. I am glad the audience ratio is increasing. These are tough times. We should be grateful for whatever attention the audience gives us."

As Chandu Champion enters its second week, industry watchers are keen to see how it will perform at the box office in the coming days.
