Chandu Champion's Box Office Journey: Kartik Aaryan's Film To Hit 32Cr Despite Dips

Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Kartik Aaryan has teamed up with Kabir Khan for the first time in Chandu Champion, a sports biographical drama based on India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. The film also features Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, and Vijay Raaz in significant roles. Chandu Champion has been one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year.

The movie has won over audiences with its inspiring storyline and Kartik's impressive performance and transformation. Chandu Champion showcases Kartik in a unique role and is considered one of his best performances to date. Due to the substantial buzz, the film opened to positive reviews and made an opening day collection of Rs 4.75 crores. Although it saw a rise in collections over the opening weekend, the first Monday experienced a drop in numbers.

According to a report by Sacnilk, Chandu Champion saw a decline of over 48% in numbers, earning Rs 5 crores on day 4 (first Monday). This was followed by another dip on day 5 (first Tuesday), with early estimates indicating a collection of Rs 3.25 crores. This brought the overall collections of Chandu Champion to Rs 29.75 crores. Given this trend, Chandu Champion is expected to struggle to make Rs 2 crores today (day 6/first Wednesday), likely crossing the Rs 32 crores mark.

Kabir Khan recently addressed the film's low opening in an interview with Times Now. He stated, "The slow start did throw us off balance. But luckily, the word-of-mouth was positive. Let's see how it goes from here. Nowadays, it's hard to predict anything about the box office. We made a film which we thought would be liked by the audience. I am glad the audience ratio is increasing. These are tough times. We should be grateful for whatever attention the audience gives us."
